Notice of Upcoming System Upgrade –

Temporary Service Impacts

We are excited to announce that the Municipality is transitioning to a new financial system that will enable us to deliver more modern, streamlined services to our residents.

As a result, in-person payments at the Municipal Office will not be available as follows:

August 6-7: Staff will be undergoing training on the new system.

August 14-20: The system conversion will occur during this time period.

Online payments (including e-transfer and bank bill payments), in-branch bank payments, and pre-authorized payments will remain available. In-person payments at the Red Lake Community Centre, Transfer Station and Ferry will remain available as normal.

Please note that online payment processing may be slightly delayed during the conversion period. However, payments received on or before the August 29 tax and utility due date will not incur penalty or interest, even if processing is delayed

To avoid late fees, we encourage property owners and utility account holders to allow time for payments to be received.
